After a scoreless first half, Citrus College and Glendale College combined for five goals in the second half, but unfortunately for the Owls, the Vaqueros came out on top in a 3-2 result.

The Owls drop to 9-5-3 on the year and 4-2-0 in Western State Conference action, while the Vaqueros improve to 7-9-3 overall and 2-3-2 in conference.

Glendale struck first in the 63rd minute, but Citrus responded just four minutes later when Jacob Ponce put away a Joseph Camarena assist to even the game, 1-1.

Both teams kept pushing, but the Vaqueros capitalized twice within a span of five minutes to jump in front 3-1.

Still, Citrus never gave up and scored with just seconds left on the clock after Isaac Ochoa found the back of the net off a Ty Robnett assist, but time expired before the visitors could find another tying goal.

The Owls close out October on the road at the College of the Canyons on Tuesday at 3 p.m. before finishing three games at home.
