Chris Davidson improved to 3-1 on the season by pitching eight strong innings Wednesday to lead GCC to a 9-6 win over Long Beach City College. Anthony Robles earned the save as Glendale improved to 11-8 this season.
Tom Tabak, Jacob Gribbin, Tony LaPorte and Troy Viola each had two hits for GCC as they totaled 13 on the day. Gribbin also scored three runs and stole three bases, Tabak had a pair of doubles and Viola had one and Brandon Lewis tripled. Grant Mona added two stolen bases as GCC had six on the day.
Glendale plays next at Cypress College Thursday March 1 at 2 pm.
