Troy Viola tied the game with a three-run homer in the 7th inning and his two run single in the 10th were the go ahead runs as GCC posted a 9-5 come from behind win over host Antelope Valley Tuesday. The Vaqs are now 3-0 in the WSC East and 14-9 overall.

 

Led by Viola's six hits and four RBI day, GCC pounded out 17 hits. Jacob Gribbin added three hits and has nine hits in his last three games. Thad Wilson, Tony LaPorte, Lucas Sakay and Tom Tabak all had two hits while Gribbin's homer and triple were the only extra base hits on the day for Glendale. Kevein Holcomb pitched two scoreless inning of relief in the ninth and tenth and struckout three to get the win.

 

Glendale continues WSC East play by hosting College of the Canyons Thursday at 2:30 pm at Stengel Field.
