With rain threatening, Glendale pounded out 13 hits to win it's sixth straight games in WSC East play with a 13-7 victory at Victor Valley College Tuesday. The Vaqs are now 6-0 in conference and 17-9 overall.
Tom Tabak and Troy Viola led the 13 hit attack with three hits each. Tabak slammed two doubles, scored twice and drove in a run and stole a base while Viola added four RBI, 1 run scored and 1 double to his stat line. Kenny Pioto, Tony LaPorte and Jacob Gribbin all had two hots each with Jake Selco adding a two-run homer.
Rain permitting, Glendale hosts Victor Valley Thursday March 22 at 2:30 pm at Stengel Field.
