The GCC baseball team had it's 10 game winning streak in WSC play snapped with a 8-4 loss at Barstow Saturday April 7. Glendale is now 10-1 in conference play and 21-10 overall

 
The Vaqs trailed 5-0 after the first inning and 6-0 after three and could never get untracked. Thad Wilson, Brandon Lewis and Konner Piotto each had two hits with Wilson hitting a solo homer and a double to pace the offense. Jacob Gribbin and Grant Mona also had hits. Starting pitcher Jason Whaley took the loss and gave up six runs on eight hits in his two innings of work.
 
Glendale hosts Antelope Valley College at 2:30 pm Tuesday April 10 at Stengel Field.
