A pair of losses Friday and Saturday May 11-12 to Mt. San Antonio College in the Southern California Super Regionals ended the 2018 season for the Vaqueros. Glendale fell 5-4 Friday and 8-5 Saturday.

The Vaqueros led Game No, 1 of the series 4-2 in the ninth inning before the Mounties scored three runs in their last at bat to rally for the win. On Saturday, Glendale led 4-1 in the sixth inning before Mt. Sac came back again to take the lead 7-4 in the seventh by scoring four times.

All in all, it was a tremendous season for GCC which finished 30-15 and won the WSC East for the sixth time since 2011 and also added a Southern California Regional opening round victory. Head Coach Chris Cicuto was named WSC East Coach of the Year and several players earned All-WSC and Golden Glove honors.
