Glendale fell to Pasadena City College 38-7 Saturday Oct. 21 at PCC
The Vaqueros trailed just 14-7 at halftime despite having a 95 yard kickoff return for a touchdown called back because of a holding penalty.
But despite its valiant efforts, the GCC defense could not hold back the Lancers despite nine tackles, seven solo from Rashad Ysaguirre, seven from Cullen Spencer, four solo and three assist and six assists from Cody Taniguchi.
Quarterback Guy Gibbs completed 16 of 25 passes for 179 yards and one score but threw for three interceptions. Randall Mincy caught three balls for 72 yards and one score and Jaden O'Neal caught five passes for 51 yards. Pileak Sun led the ground game with 12 rushes for 41 yards as the Vaqs totaled 21 first downs and had over 300 yards in total offense.
Glendale is on the road for its final time this season at Compton College at 6 pm Saturday October 28.
