Freshman kicker Chris Wood kicked a 34-yard field goal with two seconds left in the game to give Glendale a 27-24 come from behind win over Santa Ana Saturday Nov. 3. Glendale is now 2-3 in Metro League play and 2-7 overall.
 
The game winner from Wood came after Santa Ana tied the game at 24 all with 3:40 left in the fourth quarter. wood accounted for nine points in the contest on two field goals and three extra points. He also had five punts for 215 yards, an average of 43.0 and a with the longest traveling 56 yards and two landing within the opponents 20 yard line.
 
 The Vaqueros had 402 yards of total offense on the day, 226 on the ground and 176 in the air. Quarterback Nathan Eldridge passed for 176 yards on 15 of 31 and two touchdowns. Adayus Robertson led the ground game with 125 yards rushing on 21 carries and one score. Eddie Reyes led the defensive effort with 12 tackles, 10 solo.
 
Glendale closes out the 2018 season Saturday Nov. 10 with a 1 pm Metro league game vs L.A. Southwestern College at Sartoris Field.
