Elijah Washington named to All-State Region IV football Team
Congratulations to GCC Sophomore Elijah Washington for being named to the Region IV All-State Team
Elijah, a 5-11 195 running back out of St. Francis High School in La Canada was an all-purpose threat for the Vaqueros this season as her led the team in rushing with 618 yards on 131 carries and six running scores for an average per carry of 4.7 yards. He was also the second leading receiver for Glendale for 22 catches for 184 yards and one score. He also registered five tackles on special teams, four solo and intercepted one pass on defense. He also returned punts for GCC.
Washington was also a first team All-WSC selection for the Vaqueros
