Coach Solis will be starting his second season with the Glendale football staff as the Defensive Line coach for the 2018 season. He is a Bell High School alum and started his coaching career at his Alma mater in 1991.  Other high schools he coached were Garfield, San Marino, Manual Arts, Sierra Vista and most recently Marquez high school where he was the defensive coordinator.  He started his college coaching career as the assistant offensive line coach at East Los Angeles College when the program returned in 1997. He has  23 years coaching experience including coaching the Line backers at East Los Angeles College when they won the Conference and American Bowl Championship vs. Santa Monica College in 2011. He also coached the offensive line at Compton College and Whittier College. He earned his B.A. in History at CSULA and has a Masters in Education. He is married to his wife Kathleen and has an amazing daughter named Tehya.
