Ricardo Zepeda brings with him over 15 years of coaching experience at the high school and college level. Prior to being hired at Glendale as the receivers' coach, he was the head coach at Theodore Roosevelt HS for the 2016 and 2017 seasons. In 2015, Zepeda was the defensive line coach for the NCAA Div. III Whittier College Poets. Previous to that, he was defensive coordinator for the East Los Angeles College Huskies from 2011 to 2014.

In November of 2013, coach Zepeda was chosen to be the defensive coordinator for the NCAA Div. II all-star team, USA Eagles. In Dec. of the same year, he was chosen as the special team coordinator in another NCAA Div. II all-star game (US Stars vs US Stripes) that took place at the AT&T Cowboy Stadium in Arlington, Tx.
