Chris Daniels had a game high 23 points to lead Glendale to a 76-53 win over Victor Valley College Saturday Jan. 13 on a night when the Verdugo Gym was hushed during a moment of silence for VVC Head Coach Troy Johnson who passed away this week.
Glendale led 38-30 at halftime but extended that lead to 21 points at 51-30 after a 21 point run to end the first half and to start the second frame. Jordan Matthews added 14 points and a game high 11 rebounds with Serigne Athj adding 11 points and Dominic Gully 10 for Glendale. Gully also had four assists.
The Vaqs, now 8-10 and 1-0, travel to face Barstow Wednesday Jan. 17 at 7 pm
