Shorthanded Glendale beats L.A. Valley 67-58 behind 27 points from Isaac Etter

With one of its best players on the bench in street clothes, the Glendale College Men's Basketball Team started and finished strong to post a 67-58 win over L.A. Valley College Saturday Feb. 2 in the Verdugo Gym. GCC is now 3-2 in the WSC East and 10-13 overall.

Sophomore guard Andre Banton seriously injured his right ankle at practice Friday but the rest of his teammates picked up the slack as Isaac Etter led all scorers with 27 points including six of 12 from the three points line while Eric Ting added 15 points.

Tre'j Floyd led Glendale with nine boards and Steven Hubbell added eight points and four assists.

Glendale has a bye Wednesday Feb. 6 and plays at Barstow Saturday Feb. 9 at 3 pm.
