The GCC Men's Basketball team led from start to finish Thursday Dec. 28 against visiting Los Angeles City College to beat the Cubs 64-35 to improve to 6-6 this season.
Karson Peffer led the Vaqs with 19 points and 14 rebounds. Powel Mousaian and Tyson Jackson had 13 points each and Elijah Groves had 11 points off the bench. Abiel Pearl and Mousaian had nine rebounds each and Groves added four assists.
Glendale concludes non-conference play with a pair of games this week, Wednesday Jan. 3 at L.A. Pierce College at 5 pm and host Cuesta College Saturday Jan. 6 at 3 pm in the Verdugo Gym.
