Despite the 13th goal of the 2023 season by Derik Stepanians, the GCC Men's Soccer team could not hold off host Antelope Valley College and fell to the Marauders 2-1 Oct.31 in a WSC South Division matchup. Glendale is now 1-4-2 in WSC play and 6-10-3 overall.
 
The goal by Stepanian came at the 41:29 mark of the first half as GCC had five shots on goal for the game. Goalie Angel Mendoza had seven saves for the Vaqs.
 
Glendale continues WSC play Friday Npov.3 at L.A. Pierce College at 6 pm.
