James Smith a native of New Jersey and enters his first year as assistant coach at Glendale Community College.  A former collegiate player at Nichols College, coach Smith helped lead his team to 4 conference championships and was captain for both his junior and senior year.

During his time at Nichols College, coach Smith finished with a career high of 62 doubles wins and is ranking him 3rd at most doubles wins.  Graduating from Nichols College in Business Management and minor in Sports Management, Coach Smith went onto work at IMG tennis academy and Playsight.    Coming into Glendale College coach Smith is excited at working with the team aspects of mental toughness and match strategy.
