Glendale College beat Santa Monica College 21-2 Friday in its second game of the day in the 14th annual Dave "Hawk" Wilder Softball Tournament Friday Jan. 26. In other tourney results where GCC went 1-2-1, the Lady Vaqs fell to Mt. San Jacinto 8-5 in the first game Friday, lost to Bakersfield 10-0 Saturday in the first game and tied Rio Hondo 10-10 in the second game Saturday.
In the win over Santa Monica, Tatiana Schelley had four hits, Madison Stillwell had three hits including a homer and a triple, Sam Medrano had three hits including a double and a triple and Stephanie Garner also had three hits. Jessica Warren pitched five innings allowing five hits to get the win.
Glendale plays next at Cerritos College Tuesday Jan. 30 at 2:30 p.m.
