GCC Women's track athletes Daisy Romero and Pheobe Forsyth win WSC titles

Congratulation to Western State Conference Champions Daisy Romero, left, in the 1500 meters and Pheobe Forsyth, right, in the 3000 Meter Steeplechase and Carlos Rivera in the 1500 meters and Sergio Aguilar in the 400 meter hurdles at the WSC Finals Friday April 26 at Moorpark College.

The 2017 and 2018 WSC Champion men's team finished fourth in the team standings with 90 points and the women's team finished seventh with 50 points

Qualifiers from the WSC Finals advance to the Southern California Prelims May 4 and the finals May 11 at Riverside and then the season concludes at the state championships May 17-18 at San Mateo College.
