Sylvia Vartazarian. GCC Female Athlete of the Week, averaged 20 points and 15 rebounds to lead the GCC Women's Basketball Team to the finals of the Riverside Tournament last Friday through Sunday, including 16 points and 17 rebounds in the loss in the finals Sunday. She was named to the all-tournament team along with teammate Cheyenne Jankulovski.

Glendale plays in the L.A. Southwest Tourney Nov. 10-12 and faces Barstow College at 5 pm Friday Nov. 10 in a first round game.
