Glendale coasted to a 71-32 win over Victor Valley College Saturday Jan. 13 in its 2018 Western State Conference season opener. The Lady Vaqs led 35-19 at halftime and limited Victor Valley to single digit scoring in three of the four quarters played.
Cheyenne Jankulovski led the GCC women with 17 points and six assists. Savannah Fauria added 14 points and Deanna Gordillo had 12 to pace Glendale. Sylvia Vartazarian added eight rebounds and nine points.
Glendale plays at Barstow Wednesday Jan. 17.
