Lady Vaqs win second straight WSC game, 59-43 over Antelope Valley Jan. 19
Sophomore point guard Vicky Oganyan led the GCC women's Basketball Team to a 59-43 win over Antelope Valley Wednesday Jan. 19 with 13 points, 12 rebounds and six assists.
Now 11-5 overall and 2-2 in WSC play, the Lady Vaqs had a team high 21 points including five 3's from Jesni Cooper and 10 points and 10 rebounds from Kayla Wrobel. Dyani Del Castillo chipped in with 8 points and six rebounds and Sophie Hawkins had seven points off the bench.
Glendale plays next at L.A. Valley College Monday Jan. 24 at 5 pm.
