Trailing 35-34 heading into the last 10 minutes of the game, the visitors from Glendale College outscored West. L.A. College 17-7 in the fourth quarter to emerge with a 51-42 win. Now 18-5 overall and 8-1 in the WSC South, the Lady Vaqs are tied for first place in conference with L.A. Valley College.

Maile Yamada paced Glendale offensively with 17 points and two assists and Jesni Cooper added 10 points with three rebounds. Faith Boulanger and Hana Trieu had nine points each with Boulanger notching a pair of blocked shots and Trieu getting four rebounds. Tori Delacroix had six points as all of GCC's points we scored by the starting five players.

Glendale hosts L.A. Valley College Saturday Feb. 4 at 3 pm in the Verdugo Gym in a battle for first place in the WSC South.
