The 21st win of the season for the GCC Women's Basketball Team came on Saturday Feb. 11 at Citrus College. The sixth straight victory for the Lady Vaqs was by the score of 56-34 against the Owls and improved its WSC South record to 11-1 and maintains a one game lead in conference.

Maile Yamada led Glendale in scoring with 20 points on 9-12 from the field and hit two 3-pointers and had four rebounds. Jesni Cooper had 16 points and a game high 12 rebounds and two steals and Faith Boulanger had eight rebounds, three offensive, as well as six points and three blocked shots.

GCC, ranked tied for ninth in Southern California at 21-5 and 19th in the state, hosts College of the Canyons Wednesday Feb. 17 at 5 pm in its regular season home finale and ends WSC South play Friday Feb. 17 at 5 pm at Antelope Valley College.
