In its continuing search for improvement, the GCC Women's Soccer made one goal lead stand up on the road against West Los Angeles College Friday Oct. 13 before a score by the home squad late in the second half resulted in a 1-1 tie. Glendale is 1-8-2 overall and 0-5-1 in WSC play.
Gianna Mor scored her fourth goal of the season at the 14:10 mark of the first half to give the Lad Vaqs a 1-0 lead that held up until WLAC scored late in the game for the tie. GCC goalie Ashley Messier had three saves on the day and offensively Glendale had six shots on goal.
GCC continues WSC play this week with a home game Tuesday Oct.17 against L.A. Valley College at 3 pm and host Santa Monica Friday Oct.
