Whether it's playing stellar defense or even taking shots on goal, goalie Ashley Messier of the GCC Women's soccer team is making a name for herself every time she steps on the field. Against College of the Canyons on the road Tuesday Oc.24, GCC fell to the home team 3-0 but Messier saved 16 of the 19 shots she faced. Glendale is now 0-8-2 in WSC play and 1-11-3 overall.
 
Ashley keeps playing incredible, game after game'' said GCC Head Coach Jorge Mena.
 
Glendale closes out the week with a WSC match at 3:30 pm Friday Oct. 27 at Antelope Valley College.
