Practices for the GCC Women's Tennis Team must have been brutal. But when you have a season like the 2018 GCC Women's Tennis Team has had, the toughest opponent they might have faced might have been the teammates they have practiced with on a daily basis. Such was the case this year as GCC No. 1 player Miah Webb outlasted No. 2 player Srna Lepchevska 6-7 (3-7), 6-3, 7-6 (7-4) to win the WSC Singles Title last Friday at Ventura College and then immediately afterwards, the No. 1 doubles of Lepchevska and Hailey McNall b eat the No. 2 team of Webb and Subrina Subero 6-7 (5-7), 6-3, 10-8 to win the doubles crown.

 

It is believed to be the first time in school history that the Lady Vaqs have claimed both titles in the same season.
