Glendale College beat Southwestern College from Chula Vista 3-0 in its second match of the Mt. San Antonio College Quad tourney Saturday at Mt. SAC. The Lady Vaqs won by the scores of 25-17, 26-24, 25-20 after dropping the first match of the day against Mt. SAC 3-0.
In the win over Southwestern, Alexandra Rodriguez led Glendale with nine kills, Caleigh Panzzarini had eight kills and 15 assists and Marina Manokkian had seven kills and 16 digs. Angela Basco led the Vaqs with 18 assists and Brian Salas had a team high 27 digs.
Glendale hosts College of the Canyons Wednesday October 4 at 6 pm in the Verdugo Gym and plays at Cal Lutheran Friday at 6 pm.
