"The AVC tournament was a great event for us to really test ourselves," said PCC head coach Ryan Frazer. "We got to play three good teams and continue to learn how to win and get better as a team. I was proud of the fact that we were in every game and competitive. A few adjustments and we might have been 3-0 on the weekend.

"We're still learning our roles and what we need to do every night to be a winning squad. Every game, I feel like we are getting better and cutting down mistakes from the past. If we continue to do this, I think we have a great chance fo success. So far I'm very pleased with the improvement we're making and look forward to the next three games at Santa Rosa Junior College."

On Thursday, Dec. 15, PCC plays College of the Redwoods to open up the SRJC Kris Kringle Tournament. The Lancers are the only SoCal team participating in the 8-team, bracketed tourney.
