SANTA MARIA, Calif. - The Allan Hancock College men's soccer team picked up a non-conference win at home on Friday afternoon in a 4-2 decision while hosting Glendale College. | BOX SCORE
Erick Jimenez used a pass from Benny Nicolas in the first seven minutes of action to put the Bulldogs (5-2-1) on the board. Robert Torres used a pass from Javier Villafan to double the lead in the 30th before Eddie Garces assisted Caleb Toledo in the final seconds of the first half. The Vaqueros (2-4-2) registered two quick back-to-back goals after sneaking a free kick past the keeper in the 75th before benefitting from an own goal by AHC in the 79th. Garces closed out the scoring for both sides in the 87th minute after capitalizing on a penalty kick opportunity.
Hancock outshot the visitors by six while placing 12 attempts on-target compared to GC's seven. Max Brewster collected four saves and allowed two goals after spending 80 minutes in the goal for the Bulldogs, while Manny Flores nabbed one save after appearing for the final 10 minutes.
The Bulldogs will be back in action at home on Tuesday, Oct. 1st, against Pasadena City College at 3 PM.
