Former All-Western State Confernce catcher Justin Togeas returns for his second year with the Vaquero baseball program. In his first season, Togeas helped guide GCC to a WSCS championship, a Regional victory and a berth in the CCCAA Super-Regional. Coach Togeas is responsible for Glendale catchers,in 2015 he helped mentor Alex Gomez to the WSCS Gold Glove Award. Gomez accepted a scholarship to the University of San Diego. In the summers, Togeas is the field manager of the Arroyo Seco Saints, an elite program composed of standout high school and first-year college players. Between 2009 and 2014 Togeas served as an assistant at his alma mater St. Francis in La Canada. Prior to returning to the field, Coach Togeas spent over ten years working for Chase Bank. He is a recent graduate of Cal State L.A.
