GCC Men's Basketball trying to gain footing after slow start this season
The GCC Men's Basketball Team is trying to gain some momentum at the beginning of the 2019-20 season after 1-4 start beating L.A. Southwest College 65-63 in a consolation bracket game Friday Nov. 15 in the Pasadena City College Tourney.
Joel Finney led the all Vaqs, who are all freshman and have no returners this season, with 23. His brother Christian Finney added 15 points and tied for the team lead In rebounds with nine with Brooklin Sharpe, who also had none points and he also had a team high five assists.
After falling to PCC 90-72 this week, GCC plays at Pierce Thesday Nov. 26 at 6 pm.
