Soccer players Makan Afzali and Mark Martinez honored with scholar-athlete awards

Congratulations to GCC Men's Soccer players Makan Afzali and Mark Martinez for being honored as scholar-athletes by the

California Community College Soccer Coaches Association. The criteria is as follows: 

·         Pass over 24 units

·         A Grade Point Average of 3.3 or above 

·         At least one season of participation

Afzali was named All-Western State Conference second team for the 2018 season
