With the 2022 Men's soccer season dwindling down to just a handful the games, the Vaqueros are still putting forth their best effort as exhibited by the 2-0 Western State Conference victory on the road against Citrus College Friday Oct. 28.

Now 2-2-1 in conference play and 7-9-2 overall, the Vaqs rode an unassisted goal in the first half by Andrei Rodriguez at the 36:55 mark to make it 1-0 and Luis Zepeda completed the scoring with an unassisted goal in the second half at the 46:00-minute mark to complete the scoring for Glendale, which scored a season sweep of the Owls after beating them 5-0 at home on Oct. 11.

Goalie Mario Trujillo continued his outstanding play earning his fifth shutout of the year and his second in WSC play and his six saves against the Owls added to his state leading 155 saves and he is second in conference with 55.

Glendale has just one game this week, a home contest at 5 pm Tuesday Nov. 1 against Antelope Valley College at Sartoris Field. They finish the regular season at home Tuesday Nov. 8 at 5 pm against Bakersfield College and the season finale will be Friday Nov. 11 at College of the Canyons at 6 pm.
