Congratulations to the GCC No. 1 doubles team of Yugo Homma, left, and David Martirossian, right, who earned All-American honors for advancing to the state tournament May 6-7 at Mt. San Antonio College and to Martirossian who earned All-American honors in singles as well

 

Homma, from Japan, and Martirossian, from Burbank, were the WSC Doubles Championship Team this season and were seeded No. 1 in the south in the state tournament before falling in the quarterfinals. Martirossian also qualified in singles and was seeded seventh before falling in the quarterfinals.
