Four Lady Vaqs earn All-Western State Conference East honors

Congratulations to four GCC Women's Basketball Players who were named to the All Western State Conference East Team including three sophomores Sylvia Vartazarian,Cheyenne Jankulovski and Marlene Salazar and freshman Tess Oakley-Stilson. The Lady Vaqs won the WSC East Title at 9-1 and advanced to the third round of the Southern California Regionals and finished 22-6 this season. Vartazarian was also second team all-state.

• Sylvia Vartazarian-Led the team with 13.5 points per game in conference and nine rebounds per game. Shot 49 percent from the field
• Cheyenne Jankulovski-Average 11.2 points, four rebounds and three assists per game
• Marlene Salazar-averaged five points and seven rebounds per game.
• Tess Oakley-Stilson-Averaged nine points and four rebounds
