2020 GCC Baseball Pre-Season All Americans

Trent MacKinney:  Had an amazing freshman campaign in 2019 for the WSC East Champion Vaqueros. Led the state with a .430 batting average and was also the team leader in hits with 64 and runs scored with 47. He struck out just 20 times in 149 plate appearances and also had 10 doubles, four homers and three triples and stole 12 bases.
MacKinney was unanimous 1st Team All-Conference, All-Southern California, ABCA/Rawlings All-Region, scholarship to Cal Poly Pomona

Casey Slattery:  A solid season by the Glendale freshman in 2019 led to the first baseman being drafted by the New York Mets in the 38th round of the MLB Amateur Draft after starting all 44 games that season. He hit .325 for the WSC East Champion Vaqueros and led the team with 45 RBI, hit eight homers and had 54 hits and tied for the team lead with 12 doubles. He was named second team All-WSC East and won the Gold Glove as a first baseman for committing just three errors in 341 chances and helped turn 32 double plays. He received a scholarship to UC Irvine.

Hans Seo:  Had several late inning heroics for Glendale in 2019, the second team All-WSC selection tied for the team lead in homers with 12. He led the team with 96 total bases and 27 walks while hitting .380. He scored 46 runs, had 52 hits, stole 10 bases and led the team with a .701 slugging percentage while rotation between third base and shortstop during the season
