On March 3, 2022, the GCC Baseball Team lost to Santa Ana College 18-7, its second loss of the week to the Dons. They ended non-conference play the next day with a 9-6 win over Fullerton for a 10-5 record on the eve of the WSC South season, which started the following week. Fast forwarding ahead one month and 13 conference games, Glendale is now 24-5 overall and 13-0 in conference after beating College of the Canyons 7-3 Tuesday April 5 on the Cougars home field.

Now a full five games ahead of second-place Canyons, Glendale made the most of a little, for them, as they totaled just 10 hits, three extra base hits and a single digit run output for only the fifth time this season in conference play. But it was enough to support winning pitcher Aaron Suval who was solid in his six innings on the mound to improve his record to 4-0 with six strikeouts and he allowed just four hits. Chris Lozano and Aedan Cunningham pitched in relief of Suval. Adrian Gonzalez had three hits including a double and had three RBI and Izzy Madariaga had two hits including a solo homer and Kenji Pallares also had two hits also had two hits and Isaiah Velazco also homered as well.

Glendale, ranked No. 2 in Southern California in the CCCBCA poll and No. 5 in the state, hosts Canyons Thursday April 7 at 2:30 pm at Stengel Field and ends the series at Canyons Friday April 8 at 2:30 pm
