Freshmen Nick Johnson and Nick Garcia not only teamed up to help Glendale Community College defeat West Los Angeles College 52-20 on Saturday October 16, but they also teamed up to earn Southern California Football Association Offensive Player of the Week honors for their performances.

 

Johnson caught nine passes for 212 yards and three touchdowns, all from Garcia, who threw for five scores in the game for 328 yards on 18 of 21 and also added one touchdown on the ground via a quarterback sneak. Johnson also had one punt return for 23 yards to give him 235 yards of total offense on the day and Garcia had 330 combined passing and rushing yardage with his two-yard touchdown run.
