GCC sophomore Hank Norman added to his accomplishments this season by qualifying for the Men's State Golf Tournament Monday May 13 at the Sandpiper Golf Course in Santa Barbara. He qualified by tying for 14th place shooting 151, 75-76 over two rounds at the at the Southern California Championships May 6 at the Rio Bravo Golf Course in Bakersfield. GCC golfers Colin McGeary also competed Monday shooting 157, 75-76 for 35^th place and Ikki Amano who shot 173, 82-91.

 

All three golfers earned All-WSC honors this season with Norman named to the first team and Amano and McGeary getting second team honors. GCC finished sixth as a team in the WSC Finals but consistently ranked among the top teams in conference play in 2024.
