Call it the end of a draught or something else but the GCC Men's Soccer Team found a way to snap a four-game losing streak against with a 1-0 victory over visiting Moorpark College Tuesday at Sartoris Field

Now 5-6-1, the Vaqueros season continues to evolve as they battled the visiting Raiders for the majority of the game Tuesday until Derik Stepanians scored an unassisted goal, his fourth of the season, late in the second half at the 85:38 mark.

With time elapsing, it was left to the Glendale defense and especially the play of GCC goalie Mario Trujillo to nail down the win as he had eight saves to add to his state leading total of 91 and recorded his third shoutout of the season.

Glendale concludes non-conference play Friday Oct. 7 at home against visiting Santa Barbara City College at 7:30 pm at Sartoris Field
