The GCC Men's Soccer team had more than its unbeaten record on the line in a non-league contest on Tuesday, Sept. 19 at Sartoris Field. The Vaqueros came into the game at 5-0-1 with a state ranking of No. 7 in the CCCAA poll while the Warriors were 5-1 and ranked No. 6 in the state.

The tightly contested matchup saw visiting El Camino take a 1-0 first-half lead which increased to 2-0 on goal early in the second half and was followed by three more El Co goals that made the final score 5-0 for the Warriors. 

Glendale continues non-league play Friday, Sept. 22 at East Loa Angeles College at 6 p.m.
