The GCC Men's Soccer team rallied to tie the game 1-1 in the first half Tuesday Oct. 3 at San Bernardino Valley College but could not capitalize on that momentum as they fell 8-1 on the road in a non-league contest. Glendale is 5-5-1 overall.
Sophomore Derik Stepanians continued his standout offensive play this season by scoring his ninth goal of the season in the first half on an assist by Samer El Batal and goalie Tigran Malumyan had 10 saves for the Vaqs.
GCC continues non-league play Friday Oct. 6 with a 7 pm contest at Santa Barbara City College.
