Glendale Men's Cross-Country Team has solid results in Mark Covert Invitational


The Vaqueros cross country teams concluded their second race of the season on Saturday at the Mark Covert Classic, which featured Division I, II and III schools. The men would take part in their first 8K race of the season, finishing 2nd among community college teams. Ethan Danforth would come across in 66th place in a time of 26:58. Roberto Morales came in not too far behind Danforth in a time of 27:22 for 84th place. They were followed by Austin Kuromi (27:37) who took 91st, Joseph Forsyth (28:00) who came took 101st place, and Luis Juarez (28:39) coming in 116th to finish off the top five scoring runners. Rounding out the top 7 runners were 117th place finisher Jorge Ramirez (28:40) and 118th place finisher Julius Largaespada (28:49). The final two Glendale runners to cross the finish line in the Invite section were Abdiel Quero (29:20) and Kevin Vasquez (29:25). The Open section of the race also featured Ezequiel Soto (27:54), Morgan Faunce (30:21), Seth Cera (39:59), and Kevin Kiely (44:10).
