Men and Women's Cross-Country teams each take first place in community college portion of Master's Invitational

Seven of the top nine runners in the Invite race also had personal bests in the 8k. They were again led by Ethan Danforth who took 22nd place in a time of 25:39, who was followed by Roberto Morales (26:42). Danforth and Morales were then followed by Luis Juarez (26:47), Austin Kuromi (26:53), and Ezequiel Soto (27:02) to round up the top five scoring runners. Julius Largaespada (27:41), Jorge Ramirez (27:42), Kevin Vasquez (27:44), and Joseph Forsyth (27:58) would finish up the Invite race for the Vaqueros. In the open race, Morgan Faunce would have a seasonal best in the 8k in a time of 28:52. He was followed by Abdiel Quero (29:52), Kevin Kiely (38:26), and Seth Cera (39:07). Both Kiely and Cera also ran personal bests in the 8k. The teams will travel to Moorpark for the WSC Preview race on Friday October 1.
