GCC Men's Cross Country takes second place in WSC Preview Meet

The men just missed out on taking the victory, taking 2nd place with a total of 57 points, getting beat out by Moorpark College who scored a total of 48 points. Ezequiel Soto (21:33) was the first Vaquero to cross the finish line in 7th place, with Roberto Morales (21:44) coming in right behind Soto in 8th place. Ethan Danforth (22:06), Austin Kuromi (22:18), and Joseph Forsyth (22:20) took 14th, 17th, and 18th place, respectively to round out the top five scoring runners. They were followed by 19th and 22nd place finishers Julius Largaespada (22:20) and Luis Juarez (22:29). Other Vaqueros to cross the finish line were Kevin Vasquez (23:19), Sheldon Watanabe (23:34), Morgan Faunce (23:35), Abdiel Quero (23:44), Kevin Kiely (30:44), and Seth Cera (31:44). The teams will have a bye week and will travel to Mt. San Antonio College on October 15 for the Mt. Sac Invitational.
