GCC Men's Cross-Country Team finishes fourth in Southern California Championships: Qualify for State Meet Nov. 20 in Fresno

On the men's side at the Southern California Championships this past Friday at Mile Square Park in Fountain Valley, they would leave the race with a 4th place finish scoring a total of 194 points. The first Vaquero to cross the finish line was Ethan Danforth who came in 31st in a time of 20:54. Julius Largaespada came in not too far behind Danforth taking 33rd place in a time of 20:57. He was immediately followed by 34th place finisher Roberto Morales (20:57). Rounding out the men's top five scoring runners were Luis Juarez (21:07) who took 40th place and Austin Kuromi (21:46) who took 64th place. The final runners to cross the line were Sheldon Watanabe (22:24) and Ezequiel Soto (22:42) who took 92nd and 99th place, respectively. The teams will have a BYE week and then travel up north to Woodward Park in Fresno for the State Championships on Saturday November 20.
