An eight run second inning highlighted by five RBI by Savannah Alavarez, a three-run homer and a two-run double helped pace the GCC Softball Team to a 10-1 road win at L.A. Valley College Thursday April 18. Glendale is now 18-15 overall and 6-5 in WSC South play.
Arlene Islas added three hits and two RBI to contribute to the 13-hit GCC offense. Lily Brito also had two hits and Mya Chacon had a double and finished out the game on the mound in relief of starter Torii Forsberg.
Glendale ends the regular season Tuesday April 23 by recognizing its sophomores playing their finals home game against Bakersfield College at the Glendale Sports Complex
