The GCC Volleyball team found a formula for success last week with a pair of four-game wins over L.A. Harbor and L.A. Pierce Colleges. They beat the Seahawks from Harbor 25-20, 24-26, 25-22, 25-6 on Sept. 20 and then beat the Brahmas from Pierce 25-21, 25-15, 21-25, 27-25 on Sept. 22.
Freshman Jayden Dedeaux was the leading hitter in both wins for GCC with 14 and 17 kills respectively. Symiah Rodriguez had 14 kills against Pierce and Sofia Gregorio had five digs and five service aces and Keala Bush had 36 assists.
