The Men's Soccer team closed out their non-conference schedule defeating host Glendale College last Friday, 2-1
The Vaqueros opened up the scoring in 11th minute. Marcos Hernandez found the back of the net 12 minutes later to tie the score 1-1. The score would remain 1-1 going into the half.
In the 67th minute, the Raiders broke the tie when Hernandez served Daniel Marshall a crossing pass and Marshall put it away. From there, the Raiders played defense and kept the ball away from Glendale to expire the clock. The Raiders had 19 shots on goal for the game.
The Raiders are 4-4-1 overall going into the grueling WSC North schedule and will open up against #5 Oxnard at Oxnard Tuesday, October 15th, 4p. They will cap off the week at Pierce on Friday, October 11th, 4p
