The Glendale College Women's Basketball team improved to 8-4 Wednesday with a 67-39 win over Los Angeles Pierce College in the Verdugo Gym.

Three players scored in double figures for Glendale led by freshman Chloe Takuchi with 14 points and Luna Panosiqan and Brooke Radcliff had 11 points each. Paulina Glavino and Celeste Miller had six rebounds each and Panosian added four steals and Glavino had three assists.

Glendale jumped out to a 17-8 lead in the first quarter and then ran off the first 13 points of the second quarter to lead 30-8 and then 39-12 at halftime. The Lady Vaqs led 51-28 after three stanzas and then reeled off 12 straight in the fourth quarter to put the game away.
